Welcome to “The Castle of the Captain of Artillery”

The “Castle of the Captain of Artillery” is set in the idyllic surroundings of the gently rolling hills of the Tuscan-Romagnolan Apennines. Its location is also amongst the famous thermal Baths of Castrocaro with the added advantage of being in the hinterland of the Adriatic coast, less than an hour from Rimini and just an hour from Bologna airport. An integral part of the fortress city of Terra del Sole, a rare example and perfectly preserved city orginally built for Cosimo di Medici in 1564 by Baldassarre Lanci.
